Where You're Going

It’s hard to know when the right time to start is.

Ok, I’ve heard the same podcasts you have. I’ve read the same books. The first step is to “START” right?

Maybe.

Two years ago, I was ready to start the Where You’re Going Podcast. I had the name. I had the vision. I had the motivation. I thought.

But I wasn’t ready to start.

More accurately, God knew I wasn’t ready.

I was so impressed with myself. I had victories over addictions, I was healing from a divorce, I had lost a bunch of weight. I mean, things were absolutely going great! I wanted to tell everyone about it.

I wanted to do a podcast. And that podcast was going to be all about me.

Yuck!

I came across my egotism honestly. I mean…I was on fire! I wanted to tell everyone about it! But that wasn’t going to serve others. That wasn’t going to be the kind of listen that would enrich others’ lives and point them to healing.

I’m praying that this version of the podcast is.

This podcast is about you.

Are you hurting? Have you lost someone? Have you lost yourself?

We’ve all been there.

But the awesome news is: we don’t have to stay there!

Because it’s not about where you’ve been, it’s not about where you are…

It’s about where you’re going!
