“I’ll never forget the day that my parents walked out the doors of that facility, got in their car and drove off leaving me halfway across the country,” Queen says. “It was the only program for at-risk youth that would even take me in…I was hopelessly stuck.”

As a teen, Jason had been labeled “oppositional defiant” and certainly “at-risk.”

But he experienced a breakthrough thanks to one teacher at that facility believing his future could be way better than where he was heading.

“He didn’t notice me for all my behavior problems, he noticed me for other reasons,” Queen says. “When it felt like the whole world had given up on me, he believed in me. And honestly when I had given up on me, he believed in me.

“One day he said, ‘Jason, you’re just a few choices away from a very different life.’”

And through making those few better choices, a relationship with Jesus Christ, and a renewed focus on optimism, Jason’s life completely turned around.

“It wasn’t religion, it wasn’t church, it wasn’t institutionalized anything,” Queen says. “What it was was somebody who embodied the heart of Jesus…who consistently loved me with no strings attached…and it opened my heart to even the idea that maybe Jesus is worth following.”

So Jason has dedicated his life to impacting students, helping them to elevate their life!

So many kids are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, pressure, self worth and confidence.

Using his story, and some of the principles that helped him along the way, Jason is a powerful speaker, encouraging students and teachers across the country, with the mission to reach one million students!

Some of those students would be categorized as “passionately lost”, just like he was.

“That’s why I get so frustrated when I see people put labels on those students. Because when I see those students, I see rising stars. When I see those students, I see hope,” Queen says. “If you’re a teacher struggling day-in and day-out with that student…you may be the one safe, consistent place in that student’s life that may turn them around.”

But it’s not just students and teachers, Jason lifts other adults too through his Elevate Your Life community.

“Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world,” Queen says. “Whatever it is, IT’S TIME TO DREAM, AND DREAM BIG!”
